The 16SR is a sync-sound silent reflex (SR) camera system . 24, 25 or 30 f.p.s..... crystal speed, 180 degree mirror shutter, modular construction, and symmetrical viewing orientation for left or right operation. Viewfinder adjustable in 3 axes. Accepts Carl Zeiss high speed bayonet prime lenses, standard bayonet prime lenses & bayonet zoom lenses. Operating noise level: 22+2db(A). Video assist when using the Arri "T"-bar or "J" bar conversion viewfinder. The claw and pin movement provides picture steadiness better than 1/1250 of the frame height!
The SR I French motor and French two piece electronic circuit boards are serial numbers 60900 and lower. Stay away from this one... parts are no longer available and the circuit boards problematic.
The SR I German motor and German one piece electronic circuit board are serial numbers 60901 and higher.
The SR II German motor and German one piece electronic circuit board are serial numbers 63182-69893
